Each year as third graders are getting ready to go back to school, MEND provides them with basic dental screenings, fluoride treatments, vision exams, backpacks with school supplies and a new pair of shoes.
This year, 200 students participated in MEND’s Head to Toes program and had an opportunity to "shoot hoops" with special guest Jason Collins, NBA basketball player for the Atlanta Hawks team.
