Occasional Field trips and special events. Minimum age: 7 years old or 2nd Grade.

English as a Second Language Classes

Chiropractic Clinic - Every last Tuesday of the month 9:00 AM - Noon
Vision Clinic - 1st and 3rd Friday of each month 9:00 - 11:30 AM; 1st Monday of each month 9:00 AM - Noon; 3rd Wednesday of each month 9:00 AM - Noon.
Acupuncture: Each Tuesday from 2:30 p.m to 5:00 p.m.
Dental Clinic schedule varies. Dental appointments made only after completion of an intake inteview. Intake interviews are given every third Tuesday from 9:00 A.M to 11:00 A.M. Will take 1st 10 people only.
*Donation: $5.00 for each clinic each visit.
Need to Bring: On the day of the interview, must bring Picture ID, proof of address and proof of income.
Restrictions: Clinic services are available only for patients who do NOT have Medi-Cal or private insurance.

Home Visiting: Volunteers visit with recipient families in their homes; assess their needs; make referrals.
Job Skills Training Program: Participants learn entry-level skills in various employment fields through on-the-job training at MEND.
Food Service Training Program: Participants learn food services-related skills appropriate for entry-level positions in restaurants, hotel banquet services and catering services.
Sewing Program: Volunteers sew new clothes for children each Wednesday 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM at MEND.
